WELCOME TO BOTANIQUE!
Nestled in the heart of Knysna, Oaks on Main, a curated experience awaits!
A MINIFEST presented by GEM Events in collaboration with The Node Events - a first of its kind - facilitating a sensory experience by incorporating a full spectrum of Audio & Visual stimulation and evoking blissful, euphoric emotions with sprinkles of gratitude, excitement and joy.
French for Botanical: ‘BOTANIQUE’ takes place in our unique and beautiful organic garden where we dance under the wise and mature Milkwood Tree – nurturing the environment for meaningful connections to be made and for individual expression to roam free.
Our venue offers a fully stocked licensed bar, a coffee bar providing hot mugs and treats as well as a variety of food options. High Tide – will also be spreading the love from upstairs (above the bar) with their ‘Garden Shares’, so don’t forget to check them out and say hiii(gh)!

THIS UNIQUE EXPERIENCE FEATURES:
- HUNTED MIKE: One of the more recognizable faces on the scene, bewhiskered button fiddler and knob twiddler. Mike will be opening the scene with the grooviest tunes and deep funk-driven sounds, complimented by a healthy smattering of tech and whispers of the desert for good measure. Rest assure Hunted Mike knows how to get the crowd going! Having created numerous outdoor festival line ups - be ready for music that you never knew you really want to hear.
- ESMERALDA: a familiar face in the Garden Route music scene – having played at numerous festivals such as Place of Dreams and Afrikaburn, her biggest passion is intentionally curating sets to take the listener on a journey. With sounds ranging from indie, sexy desert tech, hard hitting downtempo with always a good amount of dirty base-face bangers. Every piece carries a bit of her personality, providing the crowd with a personal glimpse of her love language. Elevating the energy and spreading all round good “vaaabs” on the dancefloor through music.
- VERA: Closing the night on a high note, VERA’s magnetic presence will move you into the final resonance of the night with flowstate progressions, North-staring the fringes of euphoric Desert tech and bouncy Fluff tech inviting expression suited to the journey. With 17 years of exposure and a commitment to the art of expression, he intricately mixes live while paying attention to detail and creating personalised experiences. “VERA” meaning ‘Truth, faith’, each track celebrates the beauty of imperfection, resonating with the audience by seeking authentic connection.
